Summary
As an Business Service Assistant, you'll be involved in lots of different tasks as you support the day-to-day running of the office. This is a busy and varied job; no two days will be the same. You’ll have an important part to play in your team meeting its goals, so you’ll always be looking at how you can offer help where needed.
Salary: £12.75 per hour - we’re currently undertaking our pay review process and it is likely that this salary will be increased from 1st April 2026.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

You’ll report to the Property Operations Team, as part of a varied team working at Oxburgh Estate.
Built by the Bedingfeld family in 1482 as a statement of power, Oxburgh and the family have endured turbulent times. Through religious persecution, Civil War devastation, near dereliction and threatened demolition, Oxburgh’s story is one of survival.
Outside, the gardens are a mixture of formal and wilderness, with the kitchen garden, orchard and herbaceous border adding colour and seasonal interest. The 200-acre estate is full of wildlife, with woods, parkland and a chalk stream
What you'll be doing
You’ll be helping to run a business service for the wider team that is efficient, proactive and flexible. Your responsibilities may include managing people’s diaries and records, helping with system and financial management, creating reports and other general administrative tasks.
