Summary

The Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal Delivery Authority is seeking an experienced non-contentious construction lawyer to join our small Legal team. Reporting to the Head of Legal (Commercial), you will provide legal advice across the organisation and will work closely with our Commercial and Project teams.

The role will include you making a pivotal contribution to a high performing legal function, in support of the mandate of the Delivery Authority.  You should have a partnering style and will work across the functions of the Delivery Authority.

You will have experience of advising on construction projects throughout the project life-cycle, and an in-depth knowledge of standard form construction contracts, including the NEC.  Responsibilities will also include advising on public procurement and commercial issues and other legal matters relevant to the effective functioning of the Delivery Authority.  

To be successful in your application you will be a Solicitor admitted to practice in England & Wales. Experience of working in-house and in a major project environment would be an advantage. The ideal candidate is likely to have 6-10 years PQE, although candidates outside this range who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience will also be considered.

Salary Circa £110,000
