Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our growing team.

Role Overview
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing while ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and education in line with the EYFS
• Plan and implement engaging activities appropriate to children’s age and stage of development
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
• Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Contribute to planning, room organisation and daily routines

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare or above (full and relevant qualification recognised in the UK)
• VERY good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexibly within nursery opening hours

Desirable

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years
• Paediatric First Aid
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
