Our Client is seeking a highly skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy operation in Nottingham. Duties:
- Service, repair, and maintain various trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders
- Carry out fault diagnosis and efficiently complete necessary repairs
- Prepare trailers for MOT inspections in accordance with legal requirements
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and report any defects or issues promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Trailer Technician or similar role is essential
- Strong knowledge of trailer repairs, tail lifts, and curtain siders
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification preferred
- HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
