We are recruiting personnel at all levels Semi Skilled, Mates, Ops & Skilled Trades & Techs. Covering similar work & roles such as
Confined Space Rescue Techs & Ops
& Mechanical - Pipe Fitting roles or Fabrication roles depending on applicants skill sets & experience. Workers must have Confined Space Medium Risk or High Risk Certs or Rescue Techs & Ops Cert
Confined Space Rescue Techs & Ops Workiing on setting up work areas to meet safety specs & permit to work controls. Ensuring Hole Entry Recording is completed correctly & Rescue Procedures are set up in case of emergeny cover is required for work on vessels, tanks, silos, boilers. Also when not working on confined space work will assist with general mechnaical & pipe fitting work as required.
Semi Skilled/Mates Mechanical - Pipe Fitters. Working on the fitting of pipe spools, supports, valves, pumps, process machinery companents. Also cutting out with plasma & grinders old sheet/plate in vessels, tanks & silos as required. Other work assisting wit erecting & fitting work as required depending on the Workers skill sets. Also working on a rota basic to cover Hole Entry Safety work or Fire Watching.
Coded Spec Pipe & Plate Welders will be welding pipework & plate & vessels, tanks, silos internal sheet & plate. Welding to coded specs with TIG or MIG FCAW or MMA Plus welding frames, supports, brackets as required.
Plater Welders & Fabricator Welders will be more involved with cutting out old sheet/plate with plasma & grinders. Also with fabrication work plus higher spec welding work with MIG mainly and ideally able to weld MG FCAW & MMA & TIG .
Quals/Skills = Must have Confined Space Work skills & experience working on vessels, tanks, silos, boilers confined space work. Have some good alround skills/experience assisting with Pipe Fitting & Mechanical Fitting work or able to fabrication & welding work. Depending on the Workers skill set.
Confined Space Cert = Confined Space Medium Risk or
High Risk Certs for Rescue Techs & Hole Entry Ops Cert
Ideally Fire Watching & First Aid at Work & Abrasive Wheels Certs.
Ideally at least part qualified or skills/experience within C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Plating or Sheet Metalwork or Pipe - Mechanical Fitting
Ideally CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport
Hours = 0700 – 1700 + 47.50 to 57.5 hours Mon to Fri pos work 0600 – 1700 or 0700 - 1800 as required Also 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required
Term = Temp 4 to 8 weeks with good chance of longer term role of 12 to 18 weeks subject to attendance, time keeping, suitability for the type of work and work load.
Pay Temp = Skilled Techs £27+ per hr Semi Skilled £22 + & Mates/Ops £20 + per hr basic up to 60 hrs Mon to Fri Plus extra £5 + hr on Sat via Payment Company on CIS or PAYE Basis Depending on Skills/Quals
