About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to lead and maintain high standards across our Early Years qualifications and apprenticeships.
You will play a key role in ensuring assessments are fair, consistent, valid and fully aligned to EYFS, awarding organisation requirements, and sector expectations.

Working closely with assessors, curriculum staff, employers, and awarding body EQAs, you'll champion best practice and contribute to continuous quality improvement across the Early Years provision.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and carry out a robust IQA strategy that includes sampling, standardisation, and assessor observations
  • Maintain excellent documentation and evidence for awarding organisation compliance
  • Support and coach assessors to deliver high-quality assessments
  • Lead standardisation meetings and drive improvements in assessment practice
  • Ensure all Early Years assessment meets sector and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare for EQA visits and implement actions for continuous improvement
  • Promote safeguarding, Prevent, equality, and inclusive practice at all times
