Summary
Recruiting Part-Time Food Retail Customer Assistants to join our busy Food hall team at Bluewater Shopping Centre. This is a customer-facing, on-site retail role requiring 20 hours per week with flexible shift availability.
Role Overview
You will support daily store operations within the Foodhall, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, products are presented to high standards, and customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
• Replenish chilled, ambient, and fresh food sections
• Maintain product rotation and date checks (FIFO standards)
• Operate tills and self-checkout systems
• Assist customers with product recommendations
• Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
• Support promotional displays and seasonal launches
• Handle customer queries and resolve minor complaints
Eligibility
• Students are encouraged to apply
• Must be able to work 20 hours per week
• Weekend availability preferred
• Opportunity to transition from part-time to full-time based on performance
