Summary
Trend Technologies is seeking to hire an Automation Test Engineer on a permanent basis within our team. The right candidate will have experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks from scratch, with a focus on reducing manual testing, improving and integrating automation tests in to the Pipelines for rapid and reliable releases.
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance
Collaborate with developers, QA analyst and product teams to define test strategies
Analyse test results, identify defects and work with teams to resolve issues
Ensure scalability and maintainability of automated solutions
Contribute to improving overall testing processes and standards
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Proficient in automation tools such as Playwright (preferred), Cypress or equivalent
Strong experience with TypeScript (preferred) or JavaScript
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent ticket management tools
Experience with CI/CD integration on any platform
API testing experience
Ideally knowledge of C#, SQL (Server), Linux environments
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Desirable Skills
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Knowledge of microservices or cloud-based architectures
