They are currently seeking a motivated Playwork Assistant to help them deliver exceptional childcare in the heart of Puckeridge.
Overview of the Role
As a Playwork Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and secure atmosphere where children can learn, play, and grow. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, creating staff rotas, planning engaging activities, and supervising day-to-day operations of the club.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is essential.
- Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare or Playwork.
- Full driving licence and ability to drive to local schools.
- Willingness to attend training in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
- A sense of humour that enhances the enjoyment of the children.
