Summary

Your new role
You will join as a Senior Business Analyst, playing a pivotal role in supporting the launch of new exchange‑traded products. Operating across multiple business and technology domains, you will work with stakeholders from Product Development, Trading Operations, Clearing Operations, Risk, and Technology to deliver detailed analysis, documentation, and functional design in a highly collaborative environment.
This is a hands‑on position where you will lead requirements gathering, analyse current and future‑state processes, coordinate with SMEs across the organisation, and contribute to the delivery of a complex, multi‑workstream programme.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience & Knowledge

  • At least 10 years of business analysis experience within a Clearing House, Exchange, Member Firm, or exchange‑traded derivatives function.
  • Strong understanding of ETD markets, futures & options, commodities, trading and clearing operations, and associated risk processes.
  • Demonstrable experience producing high‑quality requirements and supporting artefacts under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern project‑delivery practices.

Skills & Core Competencies

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to capture and document business, functional, and user requirements with a high level of precision.
  • Confidence to challenge assumptions, work under pressure, and manage shifting priorities.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops and discussions across diverse teams.

Personal Qualities

  • Strong intellectual curiosity - must challenge legacy assumptions and dig into how teams and systems truly operate.
  • Confident in pushing back where needed to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of requirements.
  • Ensures understanding of both legacy processes and the future-state architecture and interactions.
