Summary

A fantastic Humanities Teacher opportunity is available in a vibrant secondary school in Wigan, working in partnership with Hays Education.

Your new role

  • Be responsible for the delivery of Humanities subjects at KS3-KS4.
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and raise achievement.
  • Support the wider school through enrichment and pastoral care.
  • Inspire students to achieve their best, even in short-term placements.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS).
  • Someone who can build positive relationships and fosters a supportive classroom environment as well as classroom behavioural management.
  • Flexibility, resilience and a commitment to raising achievement.
  • The right to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
