Are you a passionate Primary Teacher who thrives on making a real difference?We're looking for a committed and resilient Primary SEMH Teacher to join a warm, supportive specialist school in Northampton. You'll be working with KS1-KS2 pupils who have Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, attachment challenges and additional learning needs-helping them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.This is your chance to be part of a team where relationships, nurture and emotional wellbeing sit at the heart of everything they do.
⭐ What You'll Be Doing
- Creating engaging, structured and emotionally informed lessons
- Using trauma‑informed, relationship‑based teaching approaches
- Working closely with skilled support staff and a committed pastoral team
- Helping pupils build emotional resilience, confidence and regulation skills
- Establishing trusting, consistent relationships that support long‑term progress
- Supporting behaviour positively using de‑escalation and restorative practice
- Contributing to EHCP reviews, reports and multi‑agency meetings

What We're Looking For
- QTS (Primary or Secondary considered)
- Confident supporting pupils with SEMH, trauma, attachment or related needs
- A patient, nurturing and calm approach to behaviour
- Creativity, adaptability and strong teamwork skills
- Understanding of trauma‑informed and therapeutic approaches
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
