We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our specialist school in Wakefield, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Complex Needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The Role
Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team, you will provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You will play a vital role in supporting students' academic progress, social development, and emotional wellbeing in a specialist setting.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A TeamTeach qualification – current or expired qualifications will be considered, provided you have relevant experience
- Hands-on experience working with pupils with ASD, Complex Needs, and/or SEMH
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour support
- A genuine passion for making a difference in young people's lives
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Psychology degree or relevant qualification (2:1 or higher)
- Full UK driving licence
