Primary SEN Teacher- Liverpool

Randstad Education is searching for a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher with Special Educational Needs (SEN) expertise for a long-term role in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on students' lives within a highly supportive school environment.

Position:Primary SEN Teacher Location: Liverpool
Start Date: Immediately
Job Type: Full Time, Long Term Role and Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons specifically adapted for students with diverse SEN.
  • Adapting curriculum content using frameworks such as P Scales to ensure accessibility and relevance.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being and development.
  • Collaborating effectively with professional staff and the wider team to deliver comprehensive student support.
  • Developing multi sensory learning resources and monitoring pupil development.
  • Providing personal care support when necessary.
Essential Requirements:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students in a UK school setting.
  • Proficiency in curriculum adaptation (e.g., P Scales), inclusive teaching methodologies, and effective classroom management.
  • Strong patience, empathy, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new check.
  • Eligibility to Work in UK
  • Available to work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
