Summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person with proven skills who can provide support for a child with learning needs in Year 3, in the classroom.
This post will suit candidates who are committed to working positively in order to provide the best learning opportunities for their pupil and who are committed to developing themselves professionally. Start date: Monday 20th April 2026 Hours: 17 hours and 30 mins a week (every morning from Monday to Friday from 8.45am – 12.00pm and one afternoon from 2:00pm- 3:15pm) The current postholder also is a lunchtime leader and this post is available to for 7 hours and 30 mins at Hay 13. This is a fixed term contract until the child leaves the school.Salary: Hay 10 ( FTE £26,824)The successful applicant will:Have excellent communication and personal skills
Have a calm and consistent approach
Ideally have experience of working with SEN pupils
Have a supporting and encouraging manner with young children and an ability to inspire trust and to motivate the child in their care to integrate and learn through play
Have the ability to be flexible and to work as part of a teamBe required to work closely with parents, staff, parents and outside agencies
