Brook Street is delighted to be recruiting for a Tribunal Support Officer to join our well‑established public sector client based in Newport. You will provide essential administrative support within the Tribunal Section of the IPO, working closely with caseworkers and helping to ensure tribunal hearings run smoothly. This is a busy and varied role that involves managing a high volume of email correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent communication to colleagues and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage Tribunal mailboxes, ensuring emails are triaged, actioned, and distributed promptly.
  • Upload and process email correspondence into internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to incoming telephone enquiries, transferring calls or taking messages as required.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Support case management activities through a variety of administrative tasks using internal systems and processes.
About You
  • At least one year of administrative experience
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
