We are recruiting for an experienced Sandwich Artist to join our client’s busy catering team. They produce food from fresh ingredients and good honest home style cooking.
Hours are Sunday 8.00am -5.00pm – for an ongoing period
Working in a large kitchen team, the successful individual will be responsible for general food prep of Panini’s, Sandwiches and salads and cleaning down area.
Duties for Sandwich Artist include:
• Prepare, cook, and present food to a high standard.
• Work safely around the kitchen equipment.
• Maintain accurate food records.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy at all times.
• Monitor portion size and waste.
Skills needed for Sandwich Artist:
• Experience of working in a busy and fast paced kitchen
• Experience of commercial catering equipment
• Remains calm under pressure.
• Good time management
This role would suit somebody from a fast food environment, café, large volume canteen, food van environment.
