PE Teacher – Full-time, temp to perm role starting as soon as possible

Duties as PE Teacher:

  • Teach PE full time across relevant year groups
  • Deliver practical and theory-based lessons that support physical development
  • Teach female student groups with confidence and subject expertise
  • Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations
  • Adapt learning activities to meet varied needs and abilities
  • Assess progress and provide constructive verbal feedback
  • Support extracurricular or enrichment PE activities when required
  • Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong experience teaching PE
  • Confident and experienced teaching female students
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to high‑quality PE provision
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
