Summary
Fitter - £40-50k plus overtime – Monday to Friday, days only – Doncaster
The Role:
Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of heavy processing plant including loading shovels, 360 grabs, telehandlers, FLTs and other mobile plant. You will work with one other fitter, diagnosing and resolving engine and hydraulic system faults, welding and fabricating when required and ensuring plant and equipment remain safe and operational.
Requirements:
We would expect the successful candidate to have previous fitting experience, having worked on a range of static and mobile plant with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, rams, and axles. Ideally, you will have used diagnostic software for fault finding and be a capable welder and fabricator.
Benefits for the plant fitter include:
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (£16 – £21 p/hr) working 47.5 hrs a week
Hours: 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Overtime: Paid at x1.5 after 47.5 and Saturdays and x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays this increases by 2 per year up to 30 plus bank holidays
Pension: Company contributions 7% and employee contributions 7%
