About the Role
We are looking for someone to join us as an Apprentice Talent Acquisition Administrator within our fantastic people team! This is a full time 18 month fixed term contract, working 2-3 days per week on site at our office in Selly Oak on a hybrid basis. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in recruitment and business administration.

As an Apprentice Talent Acquisition Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support across the full recruitment lifecycle - supporting both employees and volunteers.

You will gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your Level 3 Business Administration qualification, supported by our training provider through workshops, coaching and workplace learning.

What You’ll Be Doing
Recruitment Administration
Creating and posting job and volunteer adverts.
Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, from attraction to onboarding.
Scheduling interviews and coordinating hiring panels.
Managing our applicant tracking system (Reach).
Ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate record keeping.
Stakeholder Support
Communicating with hiring managers, candidates and external partners.
Promoting inclusive and accessible recruitment practices.
Building positive relationships across departments.
Data & Process Support
Assisting with recruitment reporting and KPI monitoring.
Using Excel and reporting tools to analyse recruitment data.
Supporting continuous improvement projects within Talent Acquisition.
Compliance & Governance
Supporting safer recruitment practices.
Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring policy compliance.
Your Development
You will fully engage in apprenticeship learning, coaching sessions, reflective practice and project work, building the knowledge, skills and behaviours of a professional Business Administrator.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
Educated to A-Level (or equivalent) – grades A-C in subjects unrelated to the apprenticeship.
GCSE for Maths & English at a grade C or above or functional skills L2 equivalents.
Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisation and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
A proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn.
Professionalism, integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
Alignment with Sense’s values of inclusion and collaboration.
Desirable
Experience in an administrative or customer service role (including voluntary experience).
Interest in a long-term career in recruitment, HR or administration.
Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion principles.

We will be holding an assessment day on Monday 16th March at our office in Selly Oak, where all interviews will take place. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer alternative dates, so please ensure that you would be available to attend if shortlisted.
