Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, 7:30am – 2:00pm Early Finish Friday (40 Hours)

Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Wiremen to join our hardworking and experienced engineering team. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing electrical circuits and sub-circuits to exacting standards and quality specifications as defined by written instructions and management direction.

Key Responsibilities
• Produce vehicle and equipment circuitry of varying complexity to required specifications
• Work from electrical schematic drawings using general electrical engineering tools and techniques
• Perform quality inspections and honestly monitor own work
• Refer work for concession or remedial action to management as required
• Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Co-operate with and comply with departmental safety rules
• Maintain responsibility for personal health and safety and that of colleagues

Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Solid electrical engineering background
• Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade A-C (or equivalent)
• Recognised qualifications: City and Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ
• Ability to read, understand, and produce work to electrical schematic drawings
• Proficiency with general electrical engineering tools and techniques
• Strong attention to detail with ability to perform self-inspection
• Team player with effective communication skills
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

• Hourly rate: £12.98 - £18.50 (dependent on experience)
