Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in residential homes or within the community. The role involves assisting service users with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide personal care support (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
Support with meal preparation and feeding if required.
Administer or prompt medication as per care plans.
Maintain accurate care records and reports.
Offer emotional support and companionship.
Assist with light household duties (for home care roles).
Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures.
Work as part of a team with healthcare professionals and families.

Treat all service users with respect, dignity, and patience.
Follow the individual care plan for each person.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members.
Complete required training and professional development.
Adhere to guidelines set by the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
Follow workplace policies under UK regulations in the United Kingdom.
