Contract: Government

Location: Birmingham, B37 7YN (Home based with occasional travel to offices)

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

We are seeking an experienced AVDV Programme Lead to head the delivery of Asset Verification (AV) and Data Validation across a major government contract.

This role is responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are met, data outputs are delivered to a high standard, and programme governance is maintained throughout.

The position requires a confident leader capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and ensuring alignment between internal teams, suppliers and senior client stakeholders.

Job Description

We are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues.

You will lead both the internal ISS AV team and the AV supplier partner, ensuring quality and consistency of M&E asset data, and presenting outputs back to the client.

A technical background is advantageous, but the role primarily requires a leader who can rise above the detail and maintain strong strategic and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of contractual obligations for Asset Verification and Data Validation across a major government contract.

Manage the subcontractor partner and ensure quality, accurate data outputs for client submission.

Own all programme outputs, submissions and client relationship management for acceptance.

Oversee all programme governance, including agreed status meetings and reporting.

Manage survey output data to ensure timely submission and adherence to scope.

Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior representatives of the government client.

Maintain a register of missed assets or sites requiring completion during BAU.

Lead weekly calls with the client and the ISS senior leadership team, reporting on all programme variations including scope, GIA changes, access issues and required re-visits.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven Programme Management background with the ability to run multiple workstreams concurrently.

Strong leadership and commercial skills with experience managing demanding stakeholders.

Confident handling objections and resolving conflict where needed.

Supported by an existing PMO function - no Prince2 qualifications required.

Technical understanding advantageous (e.g., SFG20), though not essential.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement and able to work across ISS, suppliers and clients seamlessly.

Full UK driving licence (occasional travel to ISS offices required).
