Summary

We're looking for a Bid Manager to join our Construction team based in Stepps.

Location: Stepps, Glasgow, Hybrid between office, site with some home working.

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Are you a collaborative Bid Manager looking for your next challenge? Join our pre-construction team where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders and clients to shape winning bid strategies. You'll drive bid development through all stages, ensuring key themes are effectively communicated and deadlines are met, while taking ownership of the entire bid lifecycle.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Bid Manager, you'll be working within the pre-construction team, supporting them in securing new business opportunities. Your day to day will include:

-Assembling and coordinating bid teams, nurturing collaboration and ensuring timely input from all departments

-Developing and implementing winning bid strategies while guiding the quality of all written submissions

-Building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance our bid positioning

-Attending client feedback sessions and managing tender queries professionally

-Staying informed about innovative construction methods to keep Kier at the forefront of industry developments

What are we looking for?

This role of Bid Manager is great for you if:

-You have experience managing bids within a tier 1 construction environment

-You bring strong construction knowledge gained in a technical, commercial or operational role

-You have a genuine talent for building relationships and inspiring enthusiasm in others

-You're skilled at spotting opportunities and managing risks effectively

-You have a clear understanding of framework procurement processes and modern construction methods
