Summary

We're looking for Project Engineers to join our Anglian Water team based in East Anglia.



Location: Norwich, Norfolk- mixture of office/ site visits and home working



Hours: 45 hours per week



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



As a Project Engineer at Kier, you'll ensure projects in the local area are managed successfully from inception to completion. You'll work within a collaborative team environment, ensuring all required standards, regulations, commercial affordability targets and timeframes are met while delivering excellence for our Anglian Water client.



What will you be responsible for?



As a Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Anglian Water IOS team (integrated operational solutions), supporting them in delivering high-quality water infrastructure solutions.



Your day to day will include:

-Developing technical solutions with consideration to whole life cost and business risk reduction

-Ensuring all enabling works, design, programme, cost and CDM requirements are completed ready for construction

-Completing risk assessments and method statements to ensure site teams work safely and efficiently

-Coordinating with suppliers, specialist subcontractors and in-house teams

-Supporting project governance and maintaining compliance with company and client policies



What are we looking for?



This role of Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:



-Temporary Works Coordinator and engineering degree or equivalent

-Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivery projects

-Management of the Construction Design Management regulations (CDM)

-Excellent knowledge and experience in customer management as well as our external stakeholders

-Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders

-Full driving licence

-Confined Spaces training (or willingness to achieve)
