Summary
Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic / MOT Tester to join
our fast-growing team. We are looking for motivated, professional individuals who take pride in

Role Details:
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, alternate Saturdays, 8:00am–1:00pm (rota basis)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (basic + bonus), dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out light vehicle maintenance including tyres, brakes, exhausts, suspension, clutches, and
timing belt replacements
• Complete vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer and company guidelines
• Conduct vehicle health checks and clearly communicate findings
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
• Undertake additional repair work once authorised
• Complete all relevant paperwork, job cards, and documentation accurately and on time
Skills & Experience:
• Experience working in a professional workshop environment
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or time-served equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT licence desirable (but not essential)
• A proactive team player, comfortable working in a busy workshop
