I am looking for a PA who can assist me at sport tournaments, like travelling with me/being away for the weekend and who can generally help me get ready for my sports activity.

I am a nearly 40 year old very active wheelchair user. I have a neuromuscular condition and then had a wheelchair rugby accident in July 2025 where I suffered a spinal injury in my cervical spine

I do lots of things, and I do mean a lot of things!

This role is initially help at tournaments, which means travelling and being away for the weekend, accommodation is paid for.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Other relevant duties as required
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Helping get my wheelchair in and out of the car
- Helping tape my hands for wheelchair rugby
- Generally helping me get ready for sports

Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Ideally someone who enjoys sport or at least is happy to be in sports halls/ice rinks
