Are you a Class 1 HGV Driver looking for afternoon/night shifts?
ADR Network are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for work to work out of Royal Mail in Normanton, Wakefield throughout 2026. If you’re looking for a role that offers regular hours and minimal physical handling, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Operating 7 days a week we have a variety of shift patterns available with the busiest start times between 1200-0100. Whether you're looking for occasional days, part-time hours, weekend work, or a full-time schedule, we can tailor shifts to suit your availability.
Most drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Bookings are allocated every Thursday for the following week, including start and planned finish time, helping you maintain a healthy work life balance.
Pay Rates:
• Monday to Sunday Days depending on start time £20.82 to £21.83
• Monday to Sunday Nights depending on finish time £21.57 to £23.85
• Overtime rate accrued over 37 hours
• All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 5 penalty points (minor offences only)
• DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
