Summary

Key Task and Responsibilities Manage and promote the wider organisational patient experience strategy. Work in conjunction with internal stakeholders to promote monthly health promotions. Recruit and line manage Healthcare Reps. Chair monthly patient forums and publicise the departments concerns process, ensuring information is up to date on leaflets and posters around the establishment. Update and maintain all patient communication notice boards in all patient facing areas around the establishment including providing a monthly newsletter. Attend all necessary patient engagement meetings, training and development. Manage any survey feedback data and any other patient experience data such as compliments. Ensure all complaints receive a full, high quality and timely response that delivers the best outcome for the complainant and for the service. Communication and Relationship Skills To build effective relationships with local internal and external stakeholders to develop a positive beneficial channel of two-way communication. Prepare, support and on occasion accompany patients and carers to enable them to be meaningfully involved in Trust activities. Support the development of project plans to further develop patient involvement within the relevant services. Link in with Oxleas volunteering services to ensure effective communication. To provide regular advice signposting and support to patients in relation to patient involvement opportunities. Knowledge, Training and Experience Understanding and being able to manage potential risks with patient projects and have some knowledge around risk mitigation. To understand care pathways and have a knowledge of all services in order to understand procedures and practices as well as developing alternative or additional procedures and standards for improving the quality of involvement activit Plan, organise, coordinate, and support meetings, workshop events in relation to patient involvement activities which include all stakeholders. Analytical and Judgement Skills To analyse patient feedback data to identify trends and implement action plans to address areas of possible improvement. Planning and Organisational Skills Work in collaboration with others undertaking and supporting a variety of projects to achieve targets and deadlines. To facilitate a range of opportunities for people to participate e.g. meetings, events and forums. To work with patients in order to create and implement action plans which arise from feedback. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ: All applicants must be willing to undertake National Security Vetting in order to work in a Prison Setting. This will be completed as part of the pre-employment checks through Oxleas and the prison vetting team. You will need to provide: Proof of right to work documentation Proof of ID, needs to include 1 photographicID Proof of address documentation Non-UK passport holders will need to have correct documentation (right to work in the UK) and a Home office Share code. Address History: 5 years address history will be needed.
