About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Singing Teacher. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in local schools and Music Centres across Canterbury, Dover, and Thanet. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching and leading small ensembles.

As part of this role, you will play a key part in supporting singing events and developing local choirs, helping to build vibrant, community-focussed vocal opportunities for young people. For candidates who also play an instrument, there may be opportunities to deliver whole-class instrumental tuition alongside your vocal work.

We are looking for an inspiring and adaptable practitioner with strong musicianship, excellent vocal pedagogy, and a passion for nurturing confident, expressive young singers.

• Location: Canterbury, Dover and Thanet
• Contract: Permanent from September 2026
• Salaried Teaching Hours: 379.5 per year (approx. 11.5 per week)
• Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
• Salary: £27,233.04 to £33,154.79 pro rata, per annum
