This is an exciting opportunity to join our Diverse Asset Realisation Team (DART) which has a vacancy for 2 Administration Case Officers. The work of the DART Team is focused on either realising assets and/or the timely distribution of funds received from the recovery of diverse related assets held on bankruptcy cases. This is a significant piece of work for the Insolvency Service which directly supports our objective of maximising returns to creditors. The successful candidates will be working within an operational team, dealing with a variety of casework and administrative duties.

The team sit within the Insolvency Service’s Official Receiver's Services (ORS) Division, dealing with the administration and statutory investigation of bankruptcies and compulsory company liquidations. We contribute to the core purpose of the agency which is delivering economic confidence by maximising returns to creditors.

We continuously improve our services and are moving more services online so people can connect with us better.

Responsibilities:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • realisation of assets which can be complex in nature
  • working alongside solicitors in the realisation of pensions
  • collection of monies either in-house or in conjunction with agents
  • managing a case load of bankruptcy and partnership cases
  • sending letters and emails to insolvency creditors and dealing with follow up queries and information requests
  • entering information onto our computer system and producing standard reports for approval
  • following guidance and protocols to prepare cases for payment and distributing funds to creditors
  • providing general support to the other business areas outlined above, when this is needed
  • providing excellent customer service.
