Summary
Lalys Pharmacy is looking for a delivery driver on a self-employed basis to cover annual leave taken by our fleet drivers. Hours will occur daytime Monday to Friday.
There are currently around 140 shifts a year that our fleet drivers take as annual leave, so we would notify you in advance of shifts you can pick up on an ad-hoc basis (you wouldn't have to pick all of them up).
We currently have several owner-drivers in our fleet.
• Responsibilities include the delivery of medication to patient homes across the city, picking up or dropping off at doctor's surgeries and our pharmacies.
• Own car required - Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile
• Deliveries will be collected from our Portsmouth branches, and you will be required to use the ProDelivery app so previous experience with Amazon/DPD/similar tech would be great.
• The ideal candidate will be reliable, with a high level of attention to detail.
• You would be required to deliver / collect from our branches in Portsmouth, Cosham, Botley, Gosport.
• Must have a full driving licence, and familiarity with the city of Portsmouth.
• The route can have up to 50 deliveries a day, the candidate will be used to multi drop driving or similar activities
