I am currently seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming and supportive primary school in the BD3 area. This is a full-time teaching role starting after Easter and continuing through to July.
About the Role
The successful teacher will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging and purposeful learning that supports pupils as they prepare for their KS2 SATs. Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with Year 6 expectations are essential. The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build strong relationships quickly, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent, relevant experience teaching Year 6
- Be confident in preparing pupils for KS2 SATs, including delivering targeted interventions
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to raise attainment
- Bring enthusiasm, resilience, and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
