Summary

Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Great Dunmow, Essex | Full Time | Competitive salary of 35k basic pay with the potential to move up to 42k after a successful probation period – Night works, away works and weekends paid at overtime rates.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Experience in the Commercial and Industrial Electrical Maintenance sector is desirable
• Familiar with Bs7671, Bs5266, Regulations
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills, and able to work in a methodical and calm manner.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, and able to work under pressure to achieve required Client Service Levels and KPIs
• Calm under pressure and able to work on specified time-bound tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, or with an apprentice when required.
• The ability to use one's own initiative
• Presentable and able to undertake duties in line with Management’s recommendations and instructions.
• Adhere to company policy, and in accordance with client requirements.
• City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3,
• City & Guilds 2382 18th edition - Desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence

What will your role look like?

• Carry out Client PPMs tasks, Fire Extinguisher Servicing and inspections, Thermal Imaging, Emergency light Tests, RCD Testing and DB maintenance
• Carry out site surveys and produce site audits, and the next steps of rectifications
• Carry out repairs and replacements to emergency light fittings
• Diagnose faults with power and lighting circuits/systems
• Installation of replacement light fittings, emergency bulkheads
• Service and inspect EV charging points and carry out minor repairs
