Summary
Plater / Welder
Dayshift – Monday to Thursday - 06.00hrs – 14.00hrs.
Friday – 06.00hrs – 11.00hrs.
Overtime after 37hrs paid at Time and Half.
Ideally familiar with the MIG & TIG Welding Processes, would need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work to existing Welding Procedures qualified in accordance with BS EN ISO 15614-1:2017+A1:2019 Level 2, will be required to qualify to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017.
Needs to be competent and used to working with Carbon & Stainless-Steel materials ranging in thickness from 6mm to 100mm and all sections (Channels, Angles, Beams, Columns).
Will need to be competent in the use of overhead cranes and demonstrate an ability to correctly and safely utilise lifting equipment to perform their daily duties.
All finished welding will be examined by a third party for acceptance using DPI, MPI or UT Inspection techniques depending on contract requirements.
You will be required to carry out a weld test before a position is offered.
