Small Explorers Forestdale is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our warm and welcoming setting in Forestdale.
Established in 2016, we cater for children aged 9 months to 4 years old, offering funded places to families who meet the criteria. We are a term-time only setting, open from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
About the Role
Working hours:
-7:30am – 5:00pm, 4 days per week or shift work
-Term Time Only (TTO) – enjoy school holidays off
-Lead and inspire a dedicated team
-Ensure high standards of care, learning and safeguarding
-Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider Croydon community
-Oversee curriculum delivery and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (minimum requirement)
- Someone looking to complete a Level 5 qualification.
- Extensive experience in an early years setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A passion for community engagement and family partnership
- Sound knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
