We’re partnering with a highly successful and market leading manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a talented Production Engineer to join their growing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to play a key role within a fast paced production environment and contribute to ongoing improvements across the site.
In this role you will be involved in delivering plans related to process optimisation and working alongside cross functional teams identifying any problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement processes.
The Production Engineer will be responsible for:
• Delivering Kaizen plans related to process optimisation.
• Leading scrap and defect reduction.
• Define long term Kaizen plans and monitor achievement.
• Update progress documentation such as PFMEA, Process Control Plans and Work Instruction Manuals.
• Conduct capability studies and be involved in capacity improvement projects.
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
• Previous experience in a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer / Process Engineer type role
• Either qualified to HNC level in engineering or adequate experience in a similar role
• Previous experience, understanding and use of statistical data and QC tools.
• Understanding the importance of P-FMEA concepts and methods.
• Performing and analysing capability studies.
