Summary
Detailed job description and main responsibilities * 1. Responsible for the day- to-day clinical management of patients under the Care of the Elderly team at the Barnet Hospital, and those referred by the Emergency Care Team. 2. To participate in the acute integrated medical on-call rota for Barnet General hospital. 3. To provide support to local GPs via email and verbally. 4. Ensure all communication, which may be complex, contentious, or sensitive, is undertaken in a responsive and inclusive manner. 5. Abide by the professional code of conduct relevant to post holders governing body. 6. To maintain Continuing Professional Development accreditation as per Royal College of Physicians or The Royal College of Pathologists guidelines. 7. To participate in the Trust appraisal programme and GMC revalidation processes. 8. The successful applicant will engage fully and proactively in clinical governance activities, including quality improvement and clinical audit.
