Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Planteria/Retail Assistant to join our team at Brechin Castle Centre. The position is 20 hours per week, 3 out of 7 days (including weekends).
This position is fixed term due to end on or before 31st August 2026.
Our ideal candidate will:
· Be passionate about gardening and plants
· Having a good plant knowledge is required
· Have excellent customer service skills
· Have a willingness to work alongside our existing team to drive the business forward
· Be well presented, organised and punctual
· Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Have a keen eye for detail
Duties will include:
· Customer service and sales
· Plant and plant area maintenance and restocking
· Stock management including watering plants
· Receiving and processing weekly deliveries
· Advising customer on general gardening queries
· Maintaining plant displays
· Outdoor working is required in all weather condition
· Work in the retail/warehouse departments as required
The expectation for this position is to be really focused on standards and providing the best customer service to all our customers.
It is essential that you are able to work weekends and if needed additional hours.
