Clymac's Estimator's
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to produce accurate and competitive quotations based on engineers findings. The role requires strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to assess costs and provide clear proposals to customers. Working closely with internal teams, the Estimator will play a vital part in ensuring projects are scoped effectively and departmental KPIs are achieved.
-Review engineers worksheets to identify the required repair works
-Assess and validate engineers comments and technical recommendations
-Prepare accurate remedial quotations based on the engineers report
-Analyse and confirm material costs to ensure competitive and transparent pricing
-Produce and issue professional quotations to customers for recommended works and repairs
-Liaise with the scheduling team regarding access requirements, equipment hire, and site permit requests
-Communicate effectively across departments to facilitate seamless project delivery
-Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs through efficient and accurate work practices

-Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with relevant software/tools
-Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
-Effective communicator with the ability to liaise confidently across teams and with customers
-Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude with a collaborative mindset
-Proactive problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of tasks
-Results-driven and motivated to contribute to the success of the team and wider business
