The Site Security Supervisor will report to the Regional Security Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading security operations at the designated client site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for personnel and assets.
This role requires vigilant and reliable professionals with a strong security background, as well as the ability to supervise and support on-site security teams.
Key responsibilities include managing daily security operations, CCTV monitoring conducting patrols, monitoring access points, handling incidents, and maintaining accurate reports.
The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations, ensuring the highest standards of site security.
The responsibility for ensuring appropriate welfare provisions lies with Mitie's Site Supervisor tasked with implementing and overseeing welfare arrangements, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any issues promptly.
The site supervisor will work in conjunction with health and safety officers to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Supervising a team of Security Personnel.
-Making sure all site Health and Safety Procedures are followed for staff, visitors and occupants.
-Using electronic systems for site patrolling and CCTV monitoring .
-Acknowledgement and dissemination of Assignment Instructions/Risk Assessments /Standard Operating and Emergency Procedures as well as their reviews and updates.
-General site day to day rostering and post management and visits.
-Monitoring issue of PPEs and equipment.
-Training of staff.
-Emergency response- coordinating lock downs, alarm responses and evacuation procedures.
-Coordinating access control and gate outages response.
-Reporting and monitoring faults.
-Completing incident reports and following the correct escalation process.
-Liaising with Police - reporting and investigating incidents
-Providing operational cover as and when required to support the security team on site.
-Controlling and monitoring access (Visitors/Contractors/Deliveries).
-Management and operation of the car park enforcement procedures.
-Management of car parking arrangements associated with large events.
-Conducting Return to Work and Absence Follow Up interviews.
-Monitoring staff attendance and ensuring all posts are fully covered.
-Assisting Management with Investigations and Disciplinaries.
-Taking minutes during meetings as and when required.
-Conduct staff performance reviews as and when required.
-Other related security duties as may be instructed by Mitie management.

Have basic IT knowledge.
Must have Counter Terrorism (CT) level clearance NPPV L2 or SC clearance.
Must be able to satisfy the vetting checks as per BS7858.
Must be able to work in line with the requirements and standards, as per BS 7499.
Possess a valid SIA License for guarding/door supervision and CCTV licence.
Site supervisory experience essential.
