A highly regarded law firm in central York is looking to recruit a part-time Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and well-reviewed conveyancing team. The role
You’ll support the Residential Property team with a varied caseload, with help and back-up from experienced colleagues, including:
- Sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New build and shared ownership (where relevant)
- Liaising with clients, agents and lenders to keep matters moving
- Managing your files efficiently and delivering a high standard of client care
What they’re looking for
You’ll ideally have experience of:
- Working within a residential property department on a range of matters
- Running your own files (with support available)
- Using IT and case management systems confidently
- Working to targets and managing deadlines in a busy environment
- An understanding of the local/regional residential property market is helpful
