Summary

FM2U Ltd seeks reliable and motivated Site Operatives to deliver a 4-stage cleaning process on new-build residential developments for leading house builders. This role is site-based and hands-on, requiring a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a live construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Cleaner, your duties will include carrying out all stages of the new-build cleaning process, which consists of:

1. Builders Clean
o Removal of heavy debris, dust, and construction waste
o Cleaning of floors, surfaces, fixtures, and fittings post-construction
2. 2nd Clean
o Detailed cleaning following follow-on trades
o Further dust removal, surface cleaning, and preparation for finishing works
3. 3rd Clean
o Fine cleaning of properties prior to handover
o Ensuring kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and internal areas meet specifications
4. Sparkle Clean
o Final presentation clean for customer handover
o High attention to detail to ensure properties are pristine and move-in ready

Additional responsibilities include:

• Adhering to all site health & safety regulations
• Correct use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE
• Working independently or as part of a team to meet site deadlines
• Reporting defects, access issues, or safety concerns to supervisors

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
• Legal Right to Work in the UK (Essential)
• Fluent in English (Essential)
• Experience in construction or new-build cleaning (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
• Ability to follow instructions and site-specific cleaning specifications
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Physical Requirements

This is a physical, active role involving walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the working day.
