Summary

*The Role*:
Great community carers are rare, and outstanding Senior Carers are the absolute backbone of our homecare team. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and highly organised Senior Care Assistant to support our clients and mentor our carers out in the community.

If you love the independence of domiciliary care but are looking for a company that truly values your expertise, schedules intelligently, and supports you out on the road, we want to hear from you.

*What We Offer You (The Benefits)*:
In homecare, we know it's the hidden costs that matter. That’s why we offer:

Paid Travel Time: You are paid for your travel time between clients, not just your contact time.

Generous Mileage Allowance: 45p per mile to cover your fuel and vehicle wear-and-tear.

Smart Scheduling: Well-planned rotas in clustered areas so you aren't rushing back and forth across town.

Fully Funded Essentials: Free DBS, free uniform, and a company smartphone provided.

On-Call Enhancements: Additional pay for any on-call duties.

Career Progression: Paid training and full support to complete your NVQ Level 4 or 5.

*What You Will Be Doing*:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will split your time between delivering hands-on complex care and supporting the management team to maintain our high standards.

Your duties will include:
Carrying out client assessments, creating care plans, and conducting regular reviews.

Completing spot checks and medication competencies to ensure our care remains outstanding.

Shadowing, mentoring, and supporting new Care Assistants in the field.

Safely administering medication and assisting clients with their daily living needs.

Participating in the on-call rota to provide emergency support to our carers and clients out of hours.

*What We Need From You*:
Previous experience in homecare/domiciliary care is essential, ideally with experience as a Senior Carer or Field Care Supervisor.

An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards it).

A Full UK Driving Licence and reliable access to your own vehicle.

Confidence in updating care plans, conducting risk assessments, and leading by example.

A warm, reliable, and highly communicative personality, you will be the bridge between our clients, our carers, and the office!

Ready to join a homecare team that actually supports you? Submit your CV today or call our friendly office team on 07397115800 for an informal, confidential chat.
