Ready to make a splash with an awesome new role? We’re on the lookout for vigilant, responsible and certified Lifeguards to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for safeguarding swimmers, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable time in the water and leading assigned shifts with clear direction and plenty of motivation . If you have sharp observation skills, the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies, and a friendly, approachable attitude, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team by assigning tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and motivating the team to deliver excellent service.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue as needed.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
- Assist in training new team members on company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and National Pool Management Qualification (NPMQ).
- Swimming Pool Technical Operator Qualification (SPTO)
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification Training Assessor (NPLQ TA)
- Experience as a Senior Lifeguard, Team Leader, or Supervisor in a leisure, sports or activities setting is preferred.
- Ability to maintain focus and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Committed to providing high-quality, customer-focused service.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
This opportunity requires the new candidate to undergo, and satisfactorily complete, an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
