Summary
Our client, a highly regarded primary school in New Malden, Greater London, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-time Reception Teacher to join their dynamic team. As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning experience for children aged 4-5 years old. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including student portfolios and progress reports
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and learning of all students
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field, with a specialisation in Early Years education
- A valid teaching qualification, such as a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Extensive experience working with children aged 4-5 years old, preferably in a Reception class or similar setting
- A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
