Our client, a leading educational provider in Swindon, Wiltshire, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic team. Your role as a Full-time HLTA will involve a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Delivering high-quality, targeted support to students, both individually and in small groups, to help them achieve their full potential.
- Assisting teachers in the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring that resources and materials are readily available and organised.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of personalised learning plans.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect within the classroom.
- Providing emotional and social support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of their educational journey.
- Collaborating with other members of the teaching and support staff to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the school.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of qualifications and experience, including:
- A recognised teaching assistant qualification, such as a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience working as a teaching assistant or HLTA in a primary or secondary school setting.
- A deep understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of young learners.
