PLASTERER

Carbon60 is looking to recruit experienced Plasterers to carry out maintenance and repair work across commercial and public sector buildings in the Manchester area.

ROLE: Plasterer

PAY RATE: £28.00 per hour (Umbrella)

CONTRACT TYPE: Ongoing Contract

LOCATION: Manchester Area

BENEFITS: Company van (business use only) and phone/PDA provided

THE ROLE:

The Plasterer will support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a range of facilities, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. The role involves a variety of internal and external plastering duties, supporting both responsive repair tasks and larger maintenance projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out general plastering work including skimming, rendering, bonding, and patch repairs

Repair and replace plasterboard to walls and ceilings

Prepare and finish surfaces to a high standard

Assist with damp proofing and DPC systems where require

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with quality specifications

Maintain company tools, equipment, and van in good condition

Complete job documentation accurately and on time

Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct on-site

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as a plasterer in maintenance, construction, or refurbishment environments

Good knowledge of health and safety procedures

Full, clean UK driving licence

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Professional, reliable, and self-motivated approach

DESIRABLE:

Experience working within occupied buildings or healthcare/public facilities

Basic understanding of multi-trade tasks
