Role Summary

Triad Group Plc invites skilled and ambitious professionals to embark on a transformative journey as a Power Platform Technical Architect within our dynamic and award-winning team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable solutions built primarily using the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded architect capable of delivering robust solutions across multiple platforms and technical domains. To be successful, you will need a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies, the Microsoft ecosystem-including expertise in SharePoint, Dataverse, and the full Power Platform suite-as well as a proven background in general architecture design.

You will utilise your deep technical understanding of the full Power Platform suite to assess new methods and technologies-both within and beyond the Power Platform-translating business requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable solutions. The role will require you to evaluate and recommend development directions before implementing those recommendations to deliver optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Power Platform and associated technologies.
  • Design end-to-end solutions on Power Platform, considering scalability, security, and performance aspects.
  • Experience in architecting Cloud-based solutions.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, including application of best practices across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Customisation and Development:

  • Develop custom solutions (including bespoke styling) to meet business requirements.
  • Create and customise entities, fields, forms, and views in Dataverse.

Integration:

  • Design and implement integrations between Power Platform and other enterprise systems.
  • Work with APIs and connectors to ensure seamless data flow between Power Platform and external systems.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Define and implement governance policies for Power Platform usage.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and industry-specific regulations.

Performance Optimisation:

  • Monitor and optimise the performance of Power Platform solutions.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Power Platform solutions.
  • Document best practices, guidelines, and standards for Power Platform development.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Due to the nature of this position, you must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance (up to DV). To be eligible, you must have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Ideally, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
