Summary

Role Overview - What is it?

The Head of HR is responsible for driving company culture and company effectiveness by ensuring a seamless employee experience through the development and operationalisation of effective and aligned end to end services across reward, payroll, operational training, field coaching and employee lice cycle administration.


Main Duties - What needs to be done?
Employee Relations:

  • Ensure workplace policies are fit for purpose, aligned to company values, fair, applied consistently and well embedded.
  • Drive a proactive approach to employee relations through effective root cause analysis, communication and manager training.
  • Drive a Fast Firm Fair approach to employee relations across the company prioritising service continuity and optimisation whilst ensuring full adherence with UK labour laws.

Performance Management:

  • Support the CPO in the development and implementation of fit for purpose performance appraisal systems to assess and enhance employee performance.

Training and Development:

  • Oversee the design and delivery of engaging training packages to drive service excellence and ensure full compliance with service requirements.
  • Ensure the provision of field coaching and support to drive management confidence and effectiveness.

Compensation & Benefits Management:

  • Support the CPO in the design and implementation of an internal job grading system to facilitate effective reward bench marking and career progression.
  • Lead the annual salary review process.

HRIS & Data Reporting

  • Optimise utilisation of company HRIS maximising manager and employee self-serve facilities.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts and HR documentation. Ensure the production of timely and accurate reporting metrics.


Payroll

  • Ensure timely and accurate provision of company payroll activity.
  • Manage the relationship with company outsourced payroll provider.
